Junior Manon Manning, sophomore Kate Steward, senior Elizabeth Amato-Hanner and senior Carly Straight began swimming and diving’s Feb. 1 dual meet with Arkansas by breaking Robinson Natatorium’s 11-year-old record in the 200-yard medley relay, which was promptly followed with pool records by Manning in the 100-yard backstroke and Dannie Dilsaver in the 200-yard individual medley, en route to a 178-118 victory. One week later, KU closed out the regular season 7-1 as senior Jenny Nusbaum won three individual races and a relay in a 204-111 victory at Iowa State. …
